Gravel remains the fastest-growing category. Manufacturers offer increasingly specialized models: lightweight gravel racing, bikepacking gravel with integrated bag mounts, and versatile urban gravel. Tires from 40 to 50 mm are becoming standard.
E-bikes go stealth
The big trend of 2026 is the lightweight e-bike (under 15 kg) with compact motors and nearly invisible integrated batteries. Brands compete to offer electric bikes that look like conventional bikes. Motor systems like the Fazua Ride 60 or Mahle X35+ lead the way.
