VELOBerlin: the guide to Germany's biggest consumer bike show in Berlin

Unlike Eurobike, which is very professional-focused, VELOBerlin is aimed primarily at the general public. Each spring, it moves into a spectacular location: the hangars and tarmac of the former Tempelhof airport in Berlin. People come both to look and to try things out.

What you do there

  • Test ride bikes: indoor and outdoor test tracks let you ride the models that interest you — this is the heart of the show.
  • Discover e-bikes and cargo bikes: urban, family, utility, sport… a good snapshot of what's selling today.
  • Attend activities: talk stages, workshops, demonstrations.
  • Compare in person: over 200 exhibitors, with plenty to touch, measure and discuss before buying.

Who it's for

It's the ideal show to choose your next bike: urban riders unsure between e-bike and traditional bike, families looking at a cargo bike, cyclists who want to test before buying. The atmosphere is family-friendly (children often get in free).

Practical info

  • When: every spring (the 2026 edition takes place 11–12 April 2026).
  • Where: Hall 5, Tempelhof airport, Berlin.
  • Tickets: veloberlin.com

In short

VELOBerlin at Tempelhof each spring is Germany's biggest consumer bike show: test ride bikes, compare e-bikes and cargo bikes in person. Tickets on the official website.
