CF SL vs CF SLX: which version to choose?
Canyon offers two carbon levels:
CF SL: high-modulus carbon, excellent stiffness-to-weight ratio, used on mid-range models

In practice, the weight difference is real but marginal. If your budget allows, CF SLX is a bonus. Otherwise, CF SL is already excellent.

This is Canyon's secret comfort weapon. The VCLS 2.0 seatpost (Vertical Compliance Leaf Spring) uses two S-shaped carbon blades that flex vertically to absorb shocks. The result is impressive: you immediately feel the difference compared to a standard seatpost.
Tyre clearance and versatility
The Endurace accepts tyres up to 34 mm — that's 2 mm more than the Giant Defy and far more than most endurance bikes. It opens the door to tyres like the Panaracer GravelKing SS 32 mm for occasional light gravel.
The online buying guide
Ordering a bike online can be daunting. Key points:
Sizing: Canyon provides an online sizing tool (PPS - Perfect Positioning System). Measure your inseam and height, and the tool recommends a size. It's reliable about 90% of the time.
Delivery: the bike arrives 95% assembled in a box. You just need to fit the handlebar, front wheel, and pedals.
Returns: 30 days to return if the size doesn't suit.
